My passion for discovering novel artistic techniques led me to experiment with clay firing methods. The same curiosity prompted me to explore the effects of heat on paper. With patience and a meditative approach, I crafted a structure resembling a beehive on rice paper, giving it an intricate filigree look. This rice paper has been combined with organic matter collected from my backyard, meticulously washed, dried and treated. Bringing both these mediums to converse as one whole has been a personally fulfilling achievement. It is symbolic of the sacred circle of life – ‘from wood to paper, from paper to organic matter’. A true revival.
