“The sun blazed upon me, the moisture laden air cooled me. I experienced the vastness of space and felt the rhythmic movement of nature. I felt existence itself had chosen me to add the missing element – EARTH”
The artwork, a cyclical, rhythmic creation symbolising eternity adorns an area of 700 sq ft on a wall overlooking the sea of the rooftop restaurant.
It consists of the major discs of diameters varying from 10 ft to 15 ft created from approximately 1200 glazed tiles. The tiles comes together in unison to form a perfectly fitted puzzle.
The textured and colourful mural exemplifies ‘chakras’- the nucleus from which all energy radiates moving outwards with no beginning and end alluding to an expanding life which is cosmic and universal.
